Finish & Trim Schedules

To keep complex projects organized, the HC Design team offers finish and trim schedules, product and material lists, as well as, large-scale interior elevations. These detailed documents help streamline contractor bids and ensure every detail—from tile patterns to crown moldings—is built just as envisioned. Tailored to your specific project, these services can be provided on an hourly basis.

Special Permit & Hearing Process

Many South Shore properties require approvals from local governing bodies such as Zoning, Historic, Conservation, or Planning boards. HC Design regularly presents projects at public hearings, with a strong record of success. We provide clear, minimal drawings to communicate the scope and requested relief, aiming to complete approvals in a single meeting when possible. Services are billed hourly, and outside consultants (e.g., engineers) are brought in as needed and billed directly to the owner.

Project Observation 

HC Design offers project observation services during construction—as needed—working alongside our team of trusted engineers and builders to keep your project on track. Our team prepares detailed bid packages to help compare contractor quotes to select the right builder. Once construction begins, we can stay involved with site visits, coordination, on-the-spot decision-making, and additional drawings as needed. Our goal is to provide a smooth and efficient process, aligned with the vision for your home .
